By using this website or voluntarily providing information to us, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Data Processing Agreement

Where Cloudaxxe processes Personal Data on behalf of a customer in connection with our services, that processing may be governed by our Data Processing Agreement (DPA), which forms part of the applicable Main Agreement where relevant.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cloudaxxe.com may use cookies, pixels, scripts, local storage and similar technologies to operate essential website functions, maintain website security, understand website performance and usage, remember preferences, measure traffic and conversions, improve content and user experience and, where enabled and permitted, support advertising and remarketing activities.

Cloudaxxe currently uses WordPress-related technologies and may use Google services and other analytics or advertising technologies where enabled. Some cookies are necessary for the website to function. Other analytics or marketing technologies may depend on your preferences and applicable legal requirements.

You may control cookies through your browser settings and, where provided, through website cookie or consent controls. Disabling certain cookies may affect website functionality. A separate Cookie Notice may provide additional information where appropriate.

6. Analytics and Advertising Technologies

Cloudaxxe may use third-party analytics, search-performance and advertising technologies to understand how visitors discover and interact with our website. These services may process technical or usage information such as browser and device information, IP address, website interaction data, traffic source, conversion events and similar identifiers.

Depending on the services enabled on Cloudaxxe.com, providers may include Google and other digital advertising, analytics or measurement platforms. Information processed by those providers is also subject to their respective privacy policies and platform terms.

7. Contact Forms and Communications

When you submit a form through Cloudaxxe.com, the information you provide may be processed by our website platform, form infrastructure, anti-spam services, email systems and other providers required to securely transmit and manage the enquiry.

Our current project enquiry form may request information including Name, Work Email, Company, Website URL, Industry, Business Stage, Primary Goal and details about what you need. We use this information primarily to evaluate your enquiry and provide a relevant response.

Submitting an enquiry does not automatically enrol you in unrelated marketing communications.

8. Marketing Communications

Where permitted by applicable law, Cloudaxxe may occasionally communicate with clients, prospects or subscribers regarding relevant services, insights, company updates or other business information. You may request that we stop sending direct marketing communications at any time.

Marketing opt-out requests do not prevent Cloudaxxe from sending necessary transactional or service-related communications, such as information relating to an active project, quotation, invoice, security matter or requested service.

9. Payments and Commercial Transactions

Where Cloudaxxe offers online purchases, subscriptions, deposits or other paid services, payments may be processed through independent third-party payment providers.

Cloudaxxe does not intend to store full payment-card credentials directly on Cloudaxxe.com unless expressly required and appropriate security controls are implemented. Payment providers may independently collect and process information required to complete transactions, prevent fraud and comply with financial or regulatory requirements. Their processing is governed by their own privacy policies and terms.

10. AI, Automation and Digital Services

Cloudaxxe provides technology, AI automation, digital marketing and related services and may use software, automation or AI-assisted tools in certain internal or client-service workflows.

Where personal data is involved, Cloudaxxe aims to limit processing to information reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose and to apply appropriate access and security controls. We do not intentionally use information submitted through general enquiry forms to train publicly available AI models.

Where third-party AI or automation providers are required for a specific project, appropriate project-level arrangements may apply. Cloudaxxe does not intend to make solely automated decisions about individuals that produce legal or similarly significant effects without an appropriate lawful basis and safeguards.

11. Service Providers and Data Processors

Cloudaxxe relies on selected third-party providers to operate its website and business. Depending on the services in use, these providers may support website hosting and content management; website security and anti-spam protection; analytics and search-performance measurement; email and communications; form processing; cloud infrastructure and storage; payment processing; customer relationship or project management; advertising and conversion measurement; and software, automation or AI infrastructure.

Current website technologies include services associated with WordPress.com / Automattic, Jetpack, Akismet and Google Site Kit. We aim to provide third parties only with information reasonably necessary to perform their services and expect them to handle information in accordance with applicable contractual and legal requirements. Third-party providers may maintain their own privacy policies.

12. Disclosure of Personal Data

Cloudaxxe may disclose personal data where reasonably necessary to provide services requested by you; operate or secure the website; work with authorised service providers and contractors; complete payments or transactions; comply with legal, regulatory or governmental requirements; investigate fraud, abuse or security incidents; protect Cloudaxxe’s legal rights; or respond to a corporate restructuring, transfer or similar legitimate business event.

Cloudaxxe does not sell personal data to advertisers or data brokers.

13. International Data Transfers

Some technology providers used by Cloudaxxe may operate infrastructure or process data outside Malaysia. Where personal data is transferred internationally, Cloudaxxe seeks to take reasonable steps to ensure that the transfer and subsequent processing are subject to appropriate protection and are handled in accordance with applicable data-protection requirements.

The location of processing may vary depending on the relevant provider and service.

14. Data Security

Cloudaxxe applies reasonable administrative, organisational and technical measures intended to protect personal data against unauthorised access, misuse, loss, alteration or disclosure. These measures may include access controls, website and infrastructure security, authentication controls, security monitoring, anti-spam protection and appropriate use of reputable infrastructure providers.

No Internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Accordingly, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Where Cloudaxxe becomes aware of a personal data breach, we will assess and handle the incident in accordance with applicable legal requirements, including notification obligations where they apply.

15. Data Retention

Cloudaxxe retains personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including providing services, managing the business relationship, maintaining appropriate records, resolving disputes and complying with legal, tax, accounting or regulatory requirements.

Different categories of information may therefore have different retention periods. When information is no longer reasonably required, we may delete, anonymise or securely dispose of it, subject to applicable legal and operational requirements.

16. Your Privacy Rights

Subject to applicable law, relevant exceptions and the circumstances of the processing, you may have rights in relation to personal data held or processed by Cloudaxxe.

a. Access to Your Personal Data
You may request confirmation as to whether Cloudaxxe processes personal data relating to you and, where applicable, request access to that personal data and information about how it is being processed.

b. Correction and Updating of Personal Data
You may request that inaccurate, incomplete or outdated personal data be corrected or updated. We encourage you to notify us if information previously provided to Cloudaxxe changes so that our records can remain accurate and relevant.

c. Withdrawal of Consent
Where Cloudaxxe relies on your consent to process personal data, you may withdraw that consent, subject to applicable legal, contractual and operational requirements. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal. In some circumstances, withdrawing consent may affect our ability to provide a requested service.

d. Restriction or Objection to Certain Processing
Where permitted by applicable law, you may request that Cloudaxxe stop, restrict or otherwise limit particular processing of your personal data, including where you believe continued processing may cause unwarranted damage or distress. Any such request will be assessed in accordance with applicable legal requirements and Cloudaxxe’s legitimate business, contractual and compliance obligations.

e. Direct Marketing
You may request that Cloudaxxe stop using your personal data for direct marketing purposes. Where applicable, you may use an unsubscribe mechanism provided in a marketing communication or contact us directly. Opting out of marketing does not prevent Cloudaxxe from sending communications necessary for an existing enquiry, quotation, transaction, project, contract, security matter or other service-related purpose.

f. Deletion or Anonymisation Requests
You may request deletion or anonymisation of personal data where such a request is available under applicable law and Cloudaxxe no longer has a lawful or legitimate reason to retain the information.

A deletion request does not necessarily mean that every record can be immediately removed. Cloudaxxe may need to retain certain information where reasonably necessary for legal or regulatory compliance; accounting, taxation and financial record-keeping; contractual obligations; fraud prevention or security; establishing, exercising or defending legal rights; resolving disputes; or maintaining appropriate business and transaction records.

Where full deletion is not legally or operationally possible, Cloudaxxe may restrict the use of the information or anonymise it where appropriate.

g. Data Portability
Where applicable under Malaysian law, and subject to technical feasibility and compatibility of the relevant data format, you may request that eligible personal data be transmitted to another data controller.

h. Automated Decision-Making
Where applicable, you may raise concerns regarding decisions made solely through automated processing that have significant effects on you. Cloudaxxe does not currently intend to make solely automated decisions about individuals that produce legal or similarly significant effects without appropriate safeguards.

17. How to Exercise Your Privacy Rights

You may submit a privacy request by contacting Cloudaxxe at business@cloudaxxe.com or through our Contact page.

When submitting a request, please provide enough information for us to identify you or the relevant records, understand the nature of your request, locate the relevant personal data and communicate with you regarding the request.

Identity Verification
To protect personal data from unauthorised disclosure, Cloudaxxe may take reasonable steps to verify your identity before providing access to, correcting, transferring, restricting or deleting personal data. We may request additional information where reasonably necessary for verification.

How We Handle Requests
After receiving a valid privacy request, Cloudaxxe will review the request, verify identity where appropriate, determine the relevant legal and operational requirements, take reasonable steps to fulfil the request where applicable and communicate the outcome to you.

We aim to handle privacy requests within a reasonable period and within any time period required by applicable law. If we are unable to fully comply with a request because certain information must be retained for legal, regulatory, contractual, accounting, security or record-retention purposes, we may explain the applicable limitation where appropriate.

18. Third-Party Websites and Services

Cloudaxxe.com may contain links to external websites, platforms or services. Cloudaxxe does not control the privacy practices of independent third parties. When you leave our website or interact directly with another provider, their privacy policy and terms apply.

19. Children’s Privacy

Cloudaxxe is primarily a business-to-business digital and technology services website and is not designed or directed specifically toward children. We do not knowingly seek to collect children’s personal data through ordinary business enquiry forms.

If we become aware that personal data relating to a child has been submitted without appropriate authority or a legitimate business reason, we may take reasonable steps to delete or otherwise appropriately handle that information.

20. Changes to this Privacy Policy

Cloudaxxe may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, technology, business practices or legal requirements. The latest version will be published on this page and the “Last updated” date will be revised accordingly.
